OUR VISION
CIMEA campus chapters are the mainstay of how we engage on colleges across America. Chapters empower students to engage in impactful dialogue with Middle East experts, provide exceptional and invaluable spaces for students to expand their networks, publish their work, and most importantly, grow through deep engagement with critical issues in the Middle East. We offer emerging leaders a platform to share their perspectives, with peers and the broader community. By creating stimulating environments and promoting meaningful discourse, we ensure that our students develop a well-rounded knowledge of Middle East affairs and prepare them to become thoughtful and informed thinkers.

Non partisan
CIMEA is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization committed to the free exchange of ideas on a breadth of topics concerning the Middle East and Africa. We believe college campuses should serve as environments where meaningful discussions can take place, even in the face of tension and mistrust. We do not align with one-party, instead promoting different opinions and beliefs. Where our organization will take an ironclad stance is in humanity. We believe that the erosion of dialogue on campus stems from the dehumanization of others, and we reject this entirely. As a non-partisan organization, we remain firm in advancing this belief while fostering good-faith dialogue on issues throughout the Middle East and Africa.
